Here is what I don't get. The grass was totally killed back last year. I could not find any, even in the deep areas where it grows out to fourteen feet. The lake has grass carp. The grass right now is summer healthy. I just don't see how this all adds up.

I just think this winter has been milder than last winter. We had some really cold days for extended periods of time. just my 2 cents

there is definitely an issue, a drawdown should not be needed this year after last winter...but it appears to be the only way to gain any control next spring.

Starting now due to need for water downstream. Red River has caused many gated to close, so the guys down the boeuf are not getting what they are used to. Kincaid as well FWIW. No idea how long this will last.
