Max's wine bar..

Burger with a huge fried lobster tail and gold leaf embellished foie gras.

A shitload of food but not worth the $65.

Wtf. How in the hell did you possibly think a burger would be worth $65?

It was a special and I ordered it without hearing the price..

I am expensing my all meals for work this week so at least I have that going for me.

I'm still full from it. I hardly ate anything today.

I decided to pay for a spontaneous Sunday funday one time for about 5 people and we spent considerable time in there. That's not their only overpriced offering.

The power went out last night and luckily we had cash.

It was out for large portion of time over a large area.

I would have ordered the fried chicken and used the leftover cash on beer.

Burger & lobster doesn't really sound like a great combo to me. And the lobster was probably around $30 to $40 of that $65. Still though, a $25 burger should be magically delicious.

I enjoy max's, but I don't go very often because I find everything there to be a little pricey for what you get.

I wouldn't have ordered that burger.

We lost power at my home too.
If everything between my place and Max's off of Washington lost power, they had a serious outage.

Company Burger had a lobster burger special one day I was in there. Think it was like $25.
Guy sitting next to me at the bar ordered it and it looked incredible.

To be fair, he didn't know it was $65 until after he ate it.

No excuse. He knew he would be here talking about this burger even at a lower price.
