That LSU actually has a realistic chance to land

1. Keion Joyner- Desperate for LB's in this class and they do not get any more elite and talented in this guy. Also helps LSU develop a presence in NC. Already going through GA and FL

2. Edwin Alexander- Top recruit from LA, and landed no DT's last year. Cannot let this one get away.

3. Dwayne Haskins- Need another QB to add depth. Well documented as to why he is needed, plus would be a major win from MD.

4. Shavar Manuel- A tad thin at DE right now, and while Key will be an elite pass rusher. Manuel is more of an all around DE. DE situation has me a tad worried loosing both starters right now.

5. Eric Monroe- Important to continue the reputation as DBU and add another safety in the mix. This will be a huge win to keep him away from Texas A&M as they are LSU's main competitor.

Honorable mentions: Rashard Lawrence, Ed Oliver, Willie Allen

I get it, Jimmy said to keep an eye on him, but he just left FSU this weekend and named them his leader.

Joyner
Ed Alexander
Haskins
Rashard Lawrence
Monroe - i think he stays somewhere in texas
I could also make a case to put Divinity in here for the glaring need at LB

Michael Divinity should be on this list. We are THAT screwed at linebacker after 2015.

We may have to run a 4-7 defense instead of 4-3-4. Plenty of quality DBs

Or move some DE's or DB's to LB. We definitely need to field 5 or 6 LB's in this class even if they are 2 stars and hope they pan out to be the next unexpected diamond in the ruff

I read somewhere that Joyner has more interest in Fla State lately. Hopefully he realizes how much need we are in for LB's and comes here to get early PT

That's an awful word to use at all, let alone twice.

Hopefully our LB depth chart will make us attractive for other top LB prospects too in addition to Joyner, to include those at the JUCO level. We need min 3-4 IMO, optimally 5.

LSU will have a shot at all of those guys. That's all you can ask for. Let the best recruiting staff in the country take care of the rest.

Be interested to know what the relationship between Savion and Rahshaun Smith is like since they are both from IMG and ranked so highly at their positions...we could have a real shot there as well (DE/LB)

I think all of the IMG prospects are tight, and Saivion said that he wants to try to get a couple of them to join him.

Well sorry but this is tiger rant and not English class. I am beyond annoyed with how many people avoid topics and just wanna be my grammar teacher. Sorry but don't have the dough to hire you as my grammar coach if your looking for a job.

DE
Divinity
Lawrence/Oliver

6. Haskins/Peters

-The reason why I have QB 6th is because we already have Franks, so it's not a crazy need, although it is still a big need.

-I love Guidry as a bigger DE prospect. He's listed at 6'2 265 which is similar size to CeCe Jefferson last year.

2016
Jr Voorhies to LB
Jr Alexander
Jr Riley
Jr Garrett
*Joyner
*Chattman
*Divinity

I don't see any of those guys declaring after only one year of play so we'd have these 7 for two years at least. IMO, we need a fourth, an ILB.

Divinity is not coming. Say what you want about that statement but I know he wants to go out of state
