well shite, I'm glad that was thrown in there. it instantly gives Hampton more credibility.

I don't know... it was a different league back then.

offensive players are pampered nowadays... especially QB's.

I think it's just a statement from a guy who just misses seeing his name in the news. So he says something he knows might not be a popular opinion.

5 is an overstatement, but they certainly would have won more than the one they did. Jim Mcmahon wasn't very good. His arm was about like Chad Pennington's, but only if we're talking about the day after Chad Pennington got a tetanus shot in his throwing arm.

If Jim McMahon would have stayed healthy they would have won 5 in a row.

Jim McMahon left college as the greatest passing QB of All-time...Steve Young was his back up.
