Picking one of my all time favorite players is a wrong direction to go to try to make me angry.

The best part was that one of our other roommates kept asking my buddy why he wasn't mad.

In reality, he had ascended above the normal level of mad. He was in silent mode. I got the other roommate to leave the room casually, and the next day, the Spurs fan thanked me.

I wish they would.

I would personally sponsor a petition to get RC Buford to sign Bruce Bowen to 1 day contracts whenever Ray's team played SA just so Bruce could kick him in the head.

God I hate that frick. I don't think it's even healthy at this point

You saved a life, methinks

To add insult to injury, I had to go to work right after the game. That was a LONG shift, lemme tell ya.

Apparently I looked like death warmed over. People thought someone had died

Gotta love how seriously we take a silly game that we have nothing to do with. I, like you, have gotten way better about letting the losses roll off.

When I was a kid, I cried after LSU women's basketball lost in the Final Four for the third year in a row. That's the absolute worse it ever got in my opinion.

I think up until 2013, the Spurs were probably the only team left that I allowed myself to root for with a childlike fervor. Probably easier to do so since some of the guys I grew up cheering for were still on the team.

Saw the dark side of that after the Finals that year, and got my shite together like a grown arse man should have done a long time ago Ironically, I think it helped me appreciate the 2014 run even more.

Now, I can make no promises for how I might react if TAMU ever sniffs a natty in football.

Actually, check that, I know Imma probably act a damn fool and Aggiebelle will disown me

Imagine what Mario Lemieux would have been if he'd stayed healthy.

He once had 199 points in a season, and he had another season where a herniated disc in his back ended a Gretzky chase.

Sounds like 2011 LSU for me. Senior year in college, been a fan my whole life, season tickets and making all but 3 games all season. Team was so awesome to watch. Thinking this is finally the GOAT team that I've been waiting for. Then it get ripped out in the biggest what the frick game I have ever witnessed. Everyone depressed for like a month after that. I don't think I watched sport center or read either rant for months

Mark Prior is a good one

Yao was prime to run the league for a few years in between Shaquillqe's decline and young Howard. Yao would drop 27 and 10 like nothing almost every night.

Yea, Yao was definitely a beast. It sucks to see a guy like that go down. T-Mac too, I wish we could have seen what he would have been... Rockets have bad luck man

Still going to beat the Marcus Dupree drum. Dude was an absolute monster in college. Injuries and being surrounded by the wrong people robbed him of an opportunity to be an all time great.

Bo Jackson there is no debate. He was probably the best athlete period. It's a shame.
