I'm not saying anything beyond that is true, but there's a level of credibility to this rumor now (if it still is that, I reasonably believe a tape of whatever happened exists)

Conspiracy theories are predicated on the idea that cause and effect are of the same magnitude

Big event must have big beginnings

What was he proven to do and was his guilt proven in a court of law?

Oh and the Navy would just give you an Article 15.
-------------------------------------------------
Wrong. Navy does Captain or Admirals Mast not an Article 15. You can request Court Martial but this offense would fall under Court Martial anyway! It would be an article 128 assault consummated by battery. If it was a female that he knew then it becomes a DV charge as well. A DV charge on your record equates to not being able to carry a firearm.

Back on the subject. Dez Bryant already took to twitter and let the world know that something is out there. Factor in his history and the assumptions fly off the shelf! The Cowboys & DB thought it would just go away. Right or wrong his boys are selling him out! Doesn't mean DB is not a scumbag who happens to an elite athlete. I for one am tired of athletes and celebs getting away with crimes!

Why has nobody tracked down and interviewed this security guard/ Walmart cop. Seems this guy probably knew what happened and most likely saw the security video.

What history?

Zero legal trouble. Zero crimes committed.

You want him to have done something. But have no evidence that he actually has. And you're still calling him guilty.

At this rate, given the circumstances of the allegations, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein would still be investigating Nixon and Watergate.

i do think Schaefer is full of shite on this one

He trades information. Thats not a negotiable instrument, and $ is the only thing that will get the tape

Maybe he's heard something but he hasn't been working on this one

Can the NFL punish him for something back in 2011?

Of course. It's not a court of law, there's no statute of limitations, it's all PR at this point. Paula Deen got dropped from her TV show and endorsements pulled for things she said decades ago. It's speculation on what he did at this point, but if it's bad make no mistake the NFL will punish him for it

So a 2 game suspension then? Whew. As a Cowboys fan I was worried. Dez and AD balling out together by week 3 next year will be green money.

2 game suspension for hitting a black woman? The NFL will deem that way to harsh. $50 fine and 1 anger management class requirement.

Not saying he has a long history, but he did beat his mom enough to where the police were called and charges were initially posted... The mom then later asked that they be dropped and recanted her story.

Beat?! Exaggerate more. He allegedly slapped her with his baseball hat and grabbed her by the shirt. That's not beating

Similar to if it were a woman in your family. NFL is consistent like that.

This is starting to feel like the whole thing where Darren Rovell claimed he had seen a video that explicitly showed Manziel asking for money for autographs yet nobody but him and an unnamed producer were ever able to see it.

Yes this is as overblown as the Paul Hornung/Karras gambling episode back in 63. If I'm thinking like an executive with the NFL the first question I ask is who really got hurt here and prove they were really hurt because of this event. As I said a $50 dollar PR fine and 1 anger management class are on tap.
