Yes because watching two ripped men in tiny shorts roll around with each other is SUPER manly

MLS needs a few more teams and fans interested when their team isn't playing...

The main problem with MLS is the U.S knows it isn't the best league in soccer. Every other sport is the top tier of its sport. Star power grows sports and there is none to be had in the MLS. I believe soccer could have a huge following because when the world cup comes around it is huge but as long as the MLS is essentially a minor league system there is not going to be a huge following.

I am actually surprised by the general feedback on here.

I agree UFC does too many cards to watch them all...but I actually usually watch at least 4-6 events a year.

I have never watched a single MLS game and have very little interest in doing so. Premiere League sure but MLS? no...not at all.

I can't recall ever watching a UFC event. The culture around it just doesn't appeal to me and I don't know anyone who is interested in it.

MLS blows, but I'd watch it if bored.

I'm guessing, as stated previously it goes:

Non-MLS Soccer>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UFC>>MLS

Same - I'm not sure I could consistently hang around people who are big UFC fans

Not all UFC/MMA fans spike their hair up, wear Affliction tshirts and shadow box the big screen during a fight.

Yeah, not all fans are like that.

I respect the fighting styles. I just really don't care how all of it seems to be jiu jitsu. I don't care for all of the grappling and stuff. It's obviously effective. It just kind of bores me.

Different strokes, though. I can watch a match between Inter and Chelsea that ends 1-0 and be on the edge of my seat the entire time and you'll probably be asleep 30 minutes in.

No doubt some fights are boring and sloppy. But once you get to the elite, it becomes an art form.

ETA: I enjoy soccer, too. Actually, I used to watch soccer to go to sleep (because it was boring as shite and there were no commercials), but then it started growing on me and I and started tuning in for the matches. My favorite player to watch was Dimitar Berbatov. Dude was silky smooth with the ball.

MLS is a really good league. It's not BPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, or La Liga, but no league is.

I watch neither (and I DO watch Euro soccer).

NOBODY I know of watches that MLS crap.

I know a lot of people who watch UFC- I'm sure it has a lot more viewership nationwide.

LOL

MLS is far from crap. However, I wouldn't expect you to know that since you admit you don't actually watch it.

BTW, most "Euro leagues" actually are shite.

If Rampage is still in the UFC, then he's the only fighter I can name. The only boxers I can name are Wilder, Mayweather, and Paquiow or however the hell you spell it. That type of stuff just doesn't interest me.

I am an MLS fan, though.

Couldn't tell you the name of one current UFC fighter.

Still think it's more popular than MLS but not soccer in general.
