LINK / Has anyone here ever done this? I'm booked on the top gun package for Friday in Vegas and was curious if any of you OT ballers have done this.

I'm in reasonably good shape, not a gym rat but I do work out 3-4 days a week. Should I be concerned about GLOC? Also, I have never been affected by motion sickness but will take meds as a precaution.

I don't think you will have any problems. Those type of programs are designed for you to have a positive experience and would like for you to come back or recommend it to someone. They're not going to try and make you sick or see the tunnel. You'll have a blast.

Should I Eat Before I Fly?It is a common misconception that you should fly on an empty stomach. The truth is that you should adhere to your normal habit patterns. While it may not be advisable to eat a breakfast buffet just before your flight, you should have something in your stomach, perhaps a light breakfast, such as cereal or some fruit. Though you should always stay hydrated, it is probably a good idea to stay away from alcohol before an aerobatic flight

How much was this? About how much time are you actually flying versus sitting in a classroom?

I went out with a girl last night that's training to be a pilot there.

seen many young falcon drivers schooled, embarrassed, and sent to an early simulated grave in a 4 v. 1 16/4 by some grizzled old VN era guys
ETA: the F-4 had a gun, it just had to be hung under the belly

The window would be coated with last nights meal if I were in the back seat.

I remember reading a story once about a Marine Harrier pilot taking down like 4 F18s on a training mission.
Posted on 2/24/15 at 11:52 am to GeauxxxTigers23
Aren't Harrier Jets the ones that can hover? Aren't those really difficult to operate?

When the sun, moon, stars and tides all align just right, anything is possible. Most would never have believed that an old Mig 15 or 17 could take down a state of the art Phantom back in the day, but they did.
