At first glance it looks like a pelvic x-ray with a bowel obstruction.

I'd be willing to bet there have been more expensive photos taken and sold (paid off) under the table.

Visited his gallery in Houston a year or so ago. His work is incredible.

I tried to haggle a bit on the price of that particular photo, about tree fiddy, but they wouldn't budge.

It would have looked so good in my entry hall.

I prefer Ansel Adams for B&W. I toured one of his exhibits in Savannah when I was stationed there.

Even if I had the money for that, there is about zero chance I would spend that kind of money on a picture

Antelope Canyon. It's a slot canyon near Page, AZ. I was here two years ago. You get someone to throw baby powder up in the air to get this effect.

Someone already said it, right-click... copy... go to Kinko's and get a high-quality print and just say, "Yeah, it's real" when anyone asks..

The established art and photography community can't stand Peter Lik.

He has a 100,000 sq. ft. production facility in Las Vegas to go with his gallery/store in Caesars Palace. He mass produces his work and makes millions upon millions doing it. This has hurt the collective butts of the art world. He only goes out on photography excursions for about 3 months out of the year.

I find his photos to be beautiful, but highly manipulated for the end result. I'd love to know how much time is spent in post production on his more popular stuff.
