Surprise surprise. Pretty much all of these teams suck.

I was just thinking today that I bet Nascar teams could greatly benefit from analytics. And I bet it's hardly used at all in Nascar.

But I know hardly anything about Nascar so I may be mistaken.

I like what the 76ers are doing. They suck, but it's being done on purpose, with an eye towards an end. With their draft picks and cap space they should have a monster in 3-4 years.

I'd bet you NASCAR uses more analytics now and have in the past 10 years more than any other sport. You have to be precise statistically in every facet to compete at the highest level of racing

Or they will suck forever. Building through the draft exclusively doesn't really pay great dividends most of the time unless you get REALLY lucky, with just a few notable exceptions.

SHOCKING

So bringing in over paid aging vets isn't analytically driven. Huh.

They're at least trying. It's better than waiting summer after summer hoping that top free agent chooses you, which he never does if you're Philadelphia.

Hinkie's post trade deadline press conference was revelatory. I would love to have him in charge of the Pels.
