It had and I think still has promise. The end of S1 it seemed like they may have been reaching too much. Trying too hard to make it surprising.
The wife was very hot. But the hacker/hippie/goth/proto-hispter chick just kind of didn't impress. You could tell they were hoping to make her the female hottie. But it just wasn't there IMHO.
I'm gonna give it another go this season. Never know, they might up their game and turn it into something very good.

Bumping because the first season is on Netflix. And Season 2 starts Sunday, May 31st.

I thought the acting and the music were really good, but the writing for that show sucked so bad. I really doubt I'll watch the second season, unless it gets great reviews.

I liked it and will check out season 2. But I dont know if it will survive.
