The opening scam depended on the mark having cash in his own wallet. And a lot of luck.
How many marks would (1) insist on checking the watch and recognizing the value of the "Rolex," (2) be ballsy enough to try to hustle their recently met partner, and (3) have enough cash on hand and criminal foresight to offer to sweeten the pot and make Jimmy's hustle worth the effort?

What if the mark picks up the wallet and just hauls arse (that's what would prolly happen more often than not)

The way his partner was talking, seems like Saul has got the act down.
