Better athlete than Reid. Kids a stud athletically. Reid's greatest attributes were smarts and style. Hopefully Lewis packages his superior athletic ability with Reid's smarts and gamer attitude. He will be special if he does.

Are you talking about the same Reid? Eric had one of the best combines of any of the Safeties there. 2nd fastest 40, best vertical, best broad jump, and a good shuttle.

I actually think the Brandon Martin offer and signature was part of that process.
I would have really liked starting of reclaiming Monroe by offering Kavonte Turpin, but Martin fits what we do better, if he ever gets to campus.

Talking on the field. Reid had no hips and got roasted when having to man up in coverage. He's a zone or half the field cover guy. Lewis has more fluidity and on the field athleticism. More what I meant. Wasn't meant as a shot at Reid just a compliment to Lewis.
Honestly was surprised at how athletic Reid appeared at the combine. That stuff doesn't show up in games. His combine numbers showed an athlete on the Chad Jones level and we all know Jones was in a different league athletically.

I know the Wossman HC from our undergrad days, and from his twitter he is always wearing that other teams gear, and always on their campus. I hope he allows Lewis to make a choice for himself, and not fall victim to the propaganda...

This cat is a stud! He will shoot up the rankings this spring and summer once he hits the camp circuit. One of the best pure athletes in the state with a great frame to boot.

The Gumps are recruiting CL very hard. LSU had better get on the ball and get this kid on the LSU roster or he could be wearing that ugly crimson uni.
The kid has incredible talent. I watched him play a couple of times last year and he stood head & shoulders above anyone else on the field.
