What do y'all think about seeing these guys at this stage of there careers ?The last show I saw was Sting with Annie Lennox and it amazing . I would rather remember them like they were 10-20 years ago than to see a reunion tour that sucked .

Check out the videos of their recent concerts on Youtube.
Saw them last summer, was a great show, but have a few caveats. Donald Fagen was excellent, his voice and playing had lost little if anything. The rest of the band was outstanding. Walter Becker did little but take up space on the stage, and kill a lot of time with a long drawn out monologue while introducing the band. His guitar solos on a couple of songs were pretty lame, he could have at least made the effort to learn the 2nd guitar parts for the duets in "Reeling in the Years". The music was part his creation so he is entitled to some artistic freedom, but I would prefer he stick closer to the original music considering the money spent to see them. All that aside, I will still try to see them again in the future.

I'm not much of a Steely Dan fan but even if I were I wouldn't give that ingrate Donald Fagen a penny, considering the contemptuous and condescending way he talks about his fans:

Tonight the crowd looked so geriatric I was tempted to start calling out bingo numbers. By the end of the set, they were all on their feet, albeit shakily, rocking.... So this, now, is what I do: assisted living

I think you're taking that wrong. He's basically making fun of himself because he knows he's an aging rock star and his fanbase is growing old with him. It pretty much goes right along with the sense of humor and sarcasm found in his music.
I'm not in that age range, but that wouldn't upset me at all.

Saw them in NO this past summer and it was a really good show. I would have killed to see Elvis Costello on the same ticket. Lucky.

Got 3rd row seats at Red Rocks.
I see Steely Dan a lot. They sound great live and if you're into their style of music, you'll love the show. Costello I've only seen once a few years ago but he's still got it. I think this is going to be one hell of a show.

Saw Steely Dan a couple of months ago and they were fantastic. Got tickets to this show in Raleigh and can't wait. Costello is one of my bucket list guys.

I love Steely Dan, and they still rock.
Saw them in 2011, and it was great.

Have seen SD five times over the years in Atlanta...the most recent was last year. They are great live but IMO, they are one of the best Studio bands ever. The music is great but their lyrics and storytelling are second to none. Put me on a boat floating in the flats of the Keys, a glass of whiskey, a cigar, my wife, and SD playing on the sound system and I call that heaven on Earth.

The first time I heard Ricky was 44years ago . My cousin played in a band in Baton Rouge and turned us on to it . Nothing like we had ever heard before . Damn that was some good days .

You've inspired me to jam that song on the way home from work.
