My wishlist is relative to the cars I stumbled across when I was a broke kid with no means to purchase them.

1963 jaguar roadster (british racing green) sitting in a cow pasture in bfe.

1969 dark blue pontiac firebird, again in said bfe.

1972 Toyota fj40 with a for sale sign in the window sitting at a c-store in bfe... I had just bought a cj-7 a month earlier and couldn't swing it.

If I admitted the asking prices of those 3 vehicles 25 years ago, the OT would explode. That's what I get for being a bf 18 year old idiot in bfe with no cash.

An aunt of mine was killed in one those - t-boned by a 60 mph log truck (her fault), which will do you in no matter your car, unless you drive a Bradley or something.

Good choice Harry. Yeah, I admit I'm a bit prejudiced to that production year.

Got what I want: 1932 Buick Model 90. I've never been in a car with a smoother ride. The straight 8 engine is a great motor.

I'd like to have a Sunbeam Tiger, but the prices have gone through the roof the last couple of years. I could have bought a nice one for $10k five years ago.

Dino. You can still get these for under $150K

Pantera. Well under $100K

1970-71 Firebird. I love the nose and the dual snorkels. Could get it with a 400 big block with 435 Ft/lbs torque.

Whoever posted that 300SL...those are going for over a million. Unless it was the 190. Blecht.
