I had very little interest in this game, but the character building/RPG aspect may be too tempting. I haven't played one since Budokai 3.

You can create up to 8 different characters I believe. Second race I make is going to be Frieza's race.

What is multi-player like? Is it a huge part of the game? Do you need a group to have fun, or can you casually go solo like Call of Duty? I hardly ever play multiplayer games with people I know, so co-op is not my thing.

I haven't played with anyone yet and I'm having a blast. But the co-op option is there. While you're in the city, you have two options. You can join a server and see all of the people online and running around the city hub or you can go into your own single server where there are only a few characters made by other people and they aren't running around. It's a healthy balance of single player and co-op. You don't need to be with others to have fun.

I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure that you can make a character that looks like Super Buu.
