I find them pretty damn easy to ignore. This is the best dbz game since playstation 2 was around. The studio gets money, people realize there's money to be made in dbz, they might be able to upgrade the engine, patch the mechanics, dlc missions could be more in depth.

I'm not upset about the number. I'm upset for her reasons and how she didn't mention any of the real pros of the game outside of "you can create your own character". No mention of Toki Toki City at all.

There are some fighting mechanic issues, but her description of them was retarded.
Just because she didnt understand how to block or dodge doesnt mean that's a problem.
And as for "fully charged ki attacks usually missing", that's also bullshite. You cant just spam a full charged Ki attack without setting it up with a combo. Same as in the television show.
My biggest issue with the game is the lack of real strike super options. They shoudlve beefed up strike supers to make them equal to blast supers.

Agree with all of this. It sounds like she just sucked at the game and decided it was the fighting mechanics' fault.

Ok, the PQ the Goten sends me on is fricking bullshite. Trunks and Vegeta fight like bitches, probably what I'd imagine PVP is like.

While this game is fun, it has some really annoying problems. I think reviewing it based on what it is now is premature given that the framework for a truly excellent DBZ game is in there, but it needed to be pushed much, much further. The sequel will be infinitely better because of it.

The AI is pretty bad. During one of the final missions where I tag teamed with Goku, I took out Gohan and Vegeta with two life bars. In that same span, the cpu only took out about an 8th of a single life bar

Get Super Kamehahmeha and life will be wonderful.
Also, they Why You!!! Z Soul is fantastic if you have to fight a bunch of enemies. It automatically refills Ki when you KO an enemy. The 30 Buu Quest was a breeze with that equipped.

Got the XENOVERSE server to work for the first time last night. It's still stupid as hell. Just a bucnh of random people standing around using preset chats and then everyone disappears.
