ESPN doesn't know anything, right now some 33 year old bank manager is doing that dunk at his local Boys and Girls Club

I think it was a no-brainer because I've never seen it in a college game. It gave us a spark that we needed as well.

That seems doubtful

Fantastic publicity showing that sequence heading into a commercial with no extra commentary. Big help for recruiting possibly, as well.

He's making fun of all the people saying how easy of a dunk it is. Then those people called people like myself stupid. I guess espn and the people who have livelihoods in sports are dumb as well.

It was a nice dunk because it was during fast-break but I honestly think it would have pissed me off if I were the coach. I've seen too many plays where players try to showboat and they miss the dunk vs. just getting an easy lay-in.

Jarell Martin has some balls for trying to pull this off during a real live game. I would never do something crazy like this. I'm just glad he made it.

I think JM tried the dunk because he KNEW it was going in. I hate "What ifs" he converted the dunk give him credit.

even if I was a foot taller than I am, there's no fricking way I'd try that during a game

that play turned the game around

This Coach Jones' influence. That's why Mickey rocked the cradle against UT. Johnny's teams will be fun to watch.

Anyone have the video?
...not just the 6 second vine.

I wanna hear the announcers after that mamajama. It better have rained whiskey-pop in the student section.

Ya know, those who say this would have pissed them off if they were the coach are probably lying to themselves. Man.... coaching is a weird job. 1 out of every two goes home actually being called a 'loser'. For some reason it makes one work harder than money does. It's nerve racking.

I swear, guys who crank it up from 30 feet out are getting ripped out of the game when i'm coaching.

And i'd swear to you, that goes even if they connect on a bomb like that...

until it happens.....

then you're stunned. cause you know. he knows. and you know that he knows that's his arse if he misses and the entire fan-base will be pissed.... and he still does it and makes it

I swore it wouldnt be me. but it is only sports and sometimes ya just gotta smile

1. players understand that bad shots are the one's that are ill advised

2. players also know that bad shots do not go in

3. if these contradict. see rule 2

Yeah he had some balls doing that live. But who gives a shite, LSU has nothing to loose, he does that dunk everyday in practice. He was not even close to missing that.

Sick arse dunk
