Is Friday overrated?

I've had numerous friends tell me it was hilarious and a classic. I don't feel the same. Watched it last night for the first time and it was funny, but not something you can't miss.

Friday is greatness. Not just for nostalgic reasons, but also because it's legit hilarious IMO. It's one of my favorite comedies.

I can see this MAYBE about Friday After Next, but the second one is borderline bad.

Don't get me wrong, I was laughing. I just didn't feel like it was can't miss. Maybe my expectations were too high. I will say though, the end pissed me off. His dad told him to be a man and fight with his fists, and then he throws a brick at the dude
