Looking for a cheaper workstation computer, but with hdmi for 2nd monitor movies

Any suggestions? I need to be able to play movies off of a dvd or online on the second monitor, and I assume the easiest way to do this will be by using a hdmi cable so it can carry sound as well. TIA.

I ended up getting a $270 gateway from newegg several years ago and I pretty much just upgraded the ram and cooling. I use it as an htpc (hdmi to tv) and a Plex media server (transcoding is taxing on the processor so I use direct play as much as possible).
