Proper attire for an upper management position in an industry that's business casual?

Have a few nice sport coats/blazers but I'd prob have to go buy a new suit since my current one doesn't fit great and is sorta old. Advice?

Suit. A sports coat should have never even crossed your mind.

Get a new suit and wear it.

Last interview I had, the guy interviewing me had on a polo, khakis and boots but I was glad I wore a suit anyway. It's always better to be over-dressed.

Why would you not wear a suit is the better question.

You can always ask the person who set the interview what they suggest.

If I agree to an interview, I'm wearing a suit.

Yep. You go in to interview and the people in the office call you sir. That's never a bad thing.
