I am heading there tomorrow. Anybody have any feedback? Odds at tables normal? Any of the restaurants decent or certain ones I need to stay away from? If I am heading from Mobile do I need to avoid Baton Rouge portion of I10?

Legends steakhouse is pretty good. If your just gonna be drunk and hungry, go to Roxy's.

They have a "no craps" craps table which is a little fricky

Place is full of old people and urbanites, who always seem to have the hotel room next to mine.

It is going down hill. Facilities and food. We used to enjoy making a trip there for a little get away, but I won't be going back.

It's a nice casino. If you get a chance, there's a little specialty meat place across the street called Juneaus. They have some really good stuff; their boudin is fantastic.

Food is not that great, I agree.

Never been to legends though.

Why are you going to paragon? Concert or something?

You're passing up much better casinos on the way there

In-laws made plans and I am just a lucky guy that gets to abide by them.

Beaux Rivage has a no craps craps table. First time in a casino I was playing and a guy down the table won over 600k on one guys roll next to me. It was insane. I made like 200 bucks. Didn't have the money to make money.

If you've never been, then the setup inside with the "swamp" will probably be interesting to you. I've been quite a few times, so I notice the things that are not as good as they used to be. The indoor pool is nice during this time of year, but it can feel like a trailer park family reunion down at the pond also.

Used to be a really good golf course, but the condition seems to get worse every time I go play

They just don't spend the money they need to keep it looking good

Yea, kids got quite a kick out of petting a gator.

RV park is nice too. Felt like that was the place that all of the LSU tailgaters go for away games.

The guy is only there on certain days and at certain times, so I wouldn't mention it to them until you check the schedule. If your kids are like mine, you don't want them to show up anticipating getting to pet a gator and it not happen.
