Come on guys. Watch the fricking game. They understood where to go with the ball to get points. They play tough defense, and when it counted, they took care of the ball.

We are not a balanced team. Mickey is our only consistent inside threat, and he struggles when teams help on him. And on the perimeter, when Hornsby is off (2nd half), we struggle. TQ is pretty good with no one near him, but can also throw up some ugly bricks. And defensively, we are suspect inside (yes, I know Mickey has 200 blocks).

Hornsby is a great player and a huge part of this team, but his shot selection in the second half absolutely drove me crazy. Would it kill him to pass up a shot for once when he is ofer the second half???

A&M knows how to effectively pass and create opportunities for an open player. Our half court offense simply doesn't do that. It just doesn't.

I hate to say it, but you're right. They're the better team

They have solid talent and they don't beat themselves.

On the other hand, we have better than solid talent (if not depth) and specialize in beating ourselves.

Bottom line is in both losses to AtM LSU did not score down the stretch. The Tigers need to find a way to get our bigs involved late in games. If nothing else get them the ball down low and have them kick it back out for uncontested 3. I do NOT think AtM is a better TEAM. LSU played well last night except down the stretch. This is another great learning tool for this team as they prepare for SEC tourney and NCAA tourney. Keep the faith! Geaux Tigers!

The only way this team goes dancing is if they win the SEC tourney.

And the later in the game it gets, the less organized we get.

Yes they are. They proved it twice so there shouldn't be any question. They out hustled us in last nights game and the rebounding stats reflect it. Nothing more frustrating than watching a talented group of players underperforming on a consistent basis. Reminds me of the Dale Brown era.

FT Made-Attempted LSU 8-10 (.800) TAMU 14-26 (.538)

This was the one stat that I was furious with. I don't care that TAMU missed a ton, but for LSU to have 16 less attempts was unbelievable.
