Looking for a cheap android phone with pay as go

I need a cheap android phone that can run most apps (but nothing cutting edge) that is set up for pay as you go, data, phone, and text. Anyone have any suggestions? Just go to Walmart? Or Amazon? TIA.

Samsung I577 Exhilarate, $99 on Amazon. I've got two of these and have been using them for over a year now. No complaints.
Take a look at PTel Mobile. It's the best pay-as-you-go plan I've found. They use the T-Mobile network.

Tracfone is about the cheapest you can get. I see starter packgages including phone for under $50.
