3 doubles in less than 2 innings? after last year's performance? ok.

Prom,

I think it should be a daily thread.

Same rules as last year.

I'll start the opening day thread with all the celebratory bells & whistles. And then after that whoever wants to start it, go ahead.

Remember. If we win and you started the thread, you're on the hook for the next game and as long as we are on a streak the thread is yours. Once we lose, then the thread is up for grabs again.

ETA: if anyone fricks with this, then you will be blamed for the loss and berated.

interesting comment from peter gammons he said Cardinals were not as enamored with Shelby Miller as other baseball teams were/are. And that had the Sox not ask for Joe Kelly, they would of included Miller in trade for Lackey. Glad Sox really wanted Kelly, because Joe Kelly does not get the cardinals Heyward straight up. But Millers value around league got them heyward. sounds like he got people butthurt in org. he was sat down and talked 2 in minors for partying too much and not listening. they flew his dad in for chat(miller)

Julian Tavarez is a punk bitch who melted on national television at the juice box. Your fans suck

1st ST is in the books.

Astros win, 6-3.

King ST, RGrossman goes 2-3 with a HR and 2 RBI

Total 6 K on the day for Houston's hitters. 2 of them are Springer and Carter.

Singleton 1-3 and an RBI.

Win goes to Appel. That's disturbing also.

FINAL BOX

I'm not exactly sure why you're posting in this thread.

I think you are lost. I think you are looking for the Cubs thread. Your irrelevant posts will certainly fit right in over there.

As for Prom and Ryno's little slap fight... it's too early in the season for that crap.

Ryno, if you believe half the crap you post on this site, a truly hope that you find a way to get rid of that extra copy of Chromosome 21 that you have. Point is, you need to relax and focus on becoming an active listener and a passive conversationalist.

My bad, I misread the thread title and didn't see the "DAT" originally

That being said, please don't bring up Julian Taverez anymore

GrandDad was in the Cardinals thread kissing arse. Its not officially baseball season until GrandDad hobbles into the DAT complains about young people ruining things, reminisces about the good old days, shakes his fist and we don't hear from him again for months.

On a "here's what's happening today" topic... Alex White has a 108.00 ERA this Spring after 1/3rd of an inning (which was 7 batters faced).

I hope we aren't judging after one outing. That being said, he's a long shot to make it out of ST IMO

Not at all.

My post was really a reflection of Ryno shitting all over Appel yesterday for giving up 3 doubles and 1 run.

I think White will be the long-relief spot-starter buy in the pen.

Disturbing trend

Seriously though, if that guy had the ability to make the ML club, he would have done it by now and separated from the pack.

wouldn't surprise me if hes a casualty this year.
