Nice job ignoring me all season. It lasted 24 hours.

Key Points:

A day after Luis Valbuena hit a solo home run, Matt Dominguez went 0-for-2 with an error.
Alex White, who still has minor league options available, struggled today - giving up 4 earned runs on three hits and two walks.
Carlos Correa and Colan Moran were 1-for-2 in their first Spring Training action. Moran scored a run and Correa picked up an RBI.

FYI, Deshields is off to a scorching 0-4 (2 K's), 1 E in his Spring Training time so far with the Rangers.

Tough to steal bases if you can't get on. Wonder how long they stick with him.

Astros Sunday Split Squad Action:

VS Braves scored tied, 2 - 2, Astros zero hits through nine, Altuve, Lowrie, Carter, Dominguez, Castro all hitless. Positive note -- bullpen looks solid.

VS Tigers, Astros lead 11 - 8 bottom 7. Offense looks great. Bullpen, not so much.
Springer 1 - 2, 2 BB
Gattis 2 - 3, BB, 2RBI
Singleton 2 - 3, 2 BB

Correa with another hit... hitting .429 so far this Spring.

Astros beat the StL Cardinals today... scored 7 runs on 10 hits, 3 BB, 10 Ks. The team was 4 - 14 with RISP. Such a strange box score... but I'm thinking it becomes a common occurence with this team.

Obie pitched "ok", 3IP, 4H, 2ER, 1BB, 2K. Every Astros pitcher gave up at least 1 run today... although, Qualls was the only one with 0ER.

On non-game action, I watched the brief interview with Bagwell. Here's the link to the video -- take a look and tell me, does this look like a happy guy?

Eh. Baggy was never really an in front of the cameras kind of guy. A few seasons AFO he did Saturday home games with Brownie and JD and though he did get better as it went along, he never really seemed comfortable with the role.

You guys check out the Cubs thread about their back to back HRs. Go argue for Bryant, I don't care. I just want to be convinced that Bryant is better than Springer.
