Kind of surprised Singleton is headed down

They'd have a log jam with Gattis, Carter and he. This is the only way to insure he gets the everyday at bats in which he obviously needs.

After the contract and the fact that he has mashed at AAA already I figured they would keep him up in the name of "getting him more major league at bats" or some BS. I like the move and think it's best for both sides but I wasn't sure if they were going to actually do it

They are going to have this for a while though or at least until they make a trade and if Singleton hits at AAA he's going to get called back up, so they have a plan in place if all three are on the roster, which I assume is to have Gattis play more OF. I like the current roster construction much more though

I don't look for Gattis to play the entire season without being injured.

This is the first time in several years where I feel like they have a roster made up of all major league type talents, and not a few major league talents and a bunch of spare parts

And I am excited for that defensive OF with Rasmus, Marisnick and Springer

Ok a few things:

1. Prom, that gif about Grossman making the team

2. Didn't realize Obie was hurt. Oughta make for an interesting 2 weeks.

3. With Presley being DFA'd and Grossman's inevitable April collapse, it's gonna be time soon to start moving Grossman/Hoes to make room for Tucker & Duffy

Gattis play more OF.

Obviously I don't think the guy is going to hit close to .400 like he has this spring... But what are the expectations of this guy? Is he going to hit for average?

Probably 230 or 240, but if he hits 30+ HR then that's fine. His tendencies translate great to MMP

Singleton has unfinished business to take care of in fresno...and by business I mean weed.

Maybe he needs more weed to calm the hell down at the plate and stop swinging like the ball has to go 500 feet to clear the fences.

He's only 23. He has time for more seasoning.
