So why is Shea Patterson picking OM?

With our QB issues what is pushing him out of state and why does this not seem to be huge news here? Am I missing something? The # 6 QB in America is from La. We basically don't have a real QB yet and he appears to be going to OM. WTH?

Franks is just as much of a "real QB" as Patterson
and we also still have Harris.

OM is in a worst QB situation than us. They pretty much have a convict at QB then nothing else. We will have jenning, Harris and franks

I know people say he isn't from Louisiana.. but he has now played his majority of important ball here and built all his closest relationships here in Louisiana. This seems somewhat important to him, so they should all come to LSU.
I really would love to see him come to LSU, could absolutely be unreal special here given all the talent around here and Coach Cam.

Because he can play where he want to and he want to play for Ole Miss... not everyone wants to become the next Jefferson or Jennings

If he goes to Ole Miss, he goes. What makes him so good? Many of these kids who play at football schools against so so competition often do not make it. He might be good, and if it is at Ole Miss, let the people in Mississippi cheer for him. I will not be interested.

it just means he didn't grow up as a LSU fan or has any real connection to LSU, nor does most of his family
