They're worse than Franz Ferdinand and foster because they do the same shite but shittier, and they take themselves more seriously (although foster the people may be closer).
Cage the Elephant however, you're way off. Cage is actually a really good band who's put out some great stuff with some range on style. You've either never listened to them or you have a learning disability.
But the fact that you came here to defend Imagine Dragons makes all of your opinions, especially on music, unimportant. I hope you live a long and happy life but please, for the sake of society, please do not vote or procreate.

I'm pretty sure that it doesn't matter what band gets named in a thread like this. Someone will be quick to come on and defend them. Music is a matter of personal taste so there can't be any right or wrong answers. That said, I am not sure how anyone could call "The Reflex" anything other than crap.

I was being tongue-in-cheek with U2, but Rush is seriously fricking terrible. Maybe not Nickelback terrible, but really fricking terrible all the same. All those god dam synthesizers and Geddy Lee's voice is just fricking embarrassing.

To be fair, this is the same excuse modern douchebags use to explain why they enjoy Tool or Radiohead or some other band that most well-balanced people don't really enjoy listening to.
