No, not a good answer. One of the biggest reasons that nickleback gets so much hate is because they sucked and acted like they didn't suck. Insane Clown Posse is a joke, and they get the joke.
The only answer to this question is Imagine Dragons. They have simplistic music and insulting lyrics but they still have the balls to present themselves in public like they have something to say. It's all the pretension of coldplay but with worse music. Imagine Dragons actually makes the world a shittier place by playing music.

I agree, like many bands at the time, Chicago for example, when they left behind their edgy hard stuff to capitalize on pop it seriously diminished what they did. But there was far too much talent in that group to just flush, Slick/Balin/Kanter were top notch in their day.
