The worst interruption you've ever had

Was sleeping only to be awakened to the sound of a dormitory phone ringing. I was sound asleep. One of my best friends was calling to let me know that our mutual friend had been killed in a car accident.

A couple years ago, I got off dogs, sound asleep. At 9:00am, after couple hours of sleep, my wife wakes me (she was supposed to be at work) to tell me my father died.

One I received about hour ago that I needed to come over to this person's home to pick up my FIL. He was sitting inside their car in their garage. I was thinking, I know this person on the phone and I know he lives over a mile from my FIL. Sure enough, old man has dementia, walked out of the house, never awoke sitter and was at this other house trying to borrow a car so he could drive and tell the sitter's family he had bad news, he could not find the sitter.
Got back to his home and looked at his meds again as this was his second straight night of weird behavior. Meds looked ok and as I was leaving the house, saw a bottle of Flonase sitting next to his chair. I asked my wife when did he receive this and she said Friday.
He had inhaled a full bottle of Flonase in two days. Steroid induced hallucinations in a 88 year old man

Just found out Tattoo killed himself off of the show "Fantasy Island."

In deep sleep I woke up to stepmom yelling fire. I didn't wake up til the 4th or 5th one...seemed like a dream.
