Hey fellow Tiger fans, this thread is the 1st of a daily thread I plan to start. I will name a completely random former or active LSU player from any sport, and you can give your thoughts on that player, if they're a former player, where are they nowadays and so on. So here goes, today's completely random LSU player is:

Demetrius Hookfin!!!

He was an LSU football player, he was a cornerback. He played during the late 90's/early 2000's. Solid player.

I don't think admins look too kindly on daily threads.

I voted for Lester Scott. If you remember him you are a true tiger fan.

Lol okay, the first year I started watching LSU football was the 1999-2000 season, when I was in 6th grade. I have to admit I haven't heard of Lester Scott, I'm guessing he played a long time ago?

In 1989 the LSU basketball team had a rash of injuries and I believe chicken pox. They were down to 7 players total. Dale Brown recruited Lester Scott from the Wallbanger courts. Puts him in the next game for the last 6 minutes and he went 5 for5 from 3 point on a nationally televised game. He looked like Reggie Miller for those six minutes.

i never thought much of Hookfin. Most of my memories are of him being burnt so bad it would take DNA to identify him.

I remember him he was terrible. Good for getting burned at least 3 times per game

Why don't you post stats, a picture, or some sort of tidbit about the player? Just saying a name seems lazy.

Not a completely awful idea. Just post stats, brief bio, relevant info to give posters s starting point.
