LSU just took 3 OT's and Shipley is a strong candidate to slide over. Bama signed 1 3 star. Might just be a numbers thing where he likes their depth chart more.

Threads like this suck. Bunch of "fans" writing off a Louisiana kid because Alabama is in his top two (with US!).
Let this play out more. La'El going high in the draft with offset the only negative Bama can use in recruiting. We now have a real offensive line coach who will put Collins high this year and Hawkins high next year.

So we are likely to lose 3/5 top Louisiana players and 2 of them to Bama? That's rough. We might can overcome that for the most part, but that could easily be the difference between being the best and the 2nd or 3rd best.
for every top in state prospect you lose, you have to steal a top out-of-state prospect of equal or better at their respective positions.

He named bama his leader awhile back after visiting. Not sure what his current stance is but the general feel is that bama at least has a lead right now. I believe he's originally from texas as well so he doesnt have the state pride aspect that some recruits have.
