Of course that team flamed out in the tourney but..

In 2003 LSU was really struggling until they went up to Rupp. LSU played a great last 10 minutes of that game, lost, but built up a ton of momentum.

LSU was on fire for the rest of the season. They set a 3 pointers made record in back to back games.

This game reminds me of LSU going up to Knoxville around Mardi Gras in 2003 and styling all over Tennessee.

Interesting. That team won in Knoxville in mid Feb by a wide margin getting off to a hot start, too.

We were 3-8 in 2003, so we're in a bit of a better position, but the conference was stronger then. Ain't no SEC team getting in at 8-8 (or 9-9 this year) even with two SEC tourney wins like we got in 2003.

Need to serve up some revenge on A$M Tuesday.

This game was a lot like the Tennessee game in 2003 excpet Dupree missed his breakaway windmill dunk.

Toris Bright had like 8 turnovers. It was ugly.

So we want to go on a run just to make the NCAA's and then get blown out in the 1st round.
