Best way to get from uptown to downtown Nola?

Curb app has failed me miserably so far. It actually told me it looks like the cab driver picked up another rider and suggested that I call the dispatcher. Now I'm on hold.
What say the OT?

Yea it's not bad. I've done up and back down many times.
I also just learned the correct plural is Mardis Gras. I knew that 's wasnt right.
