The 15-year-old boy from Mount Vernon was arraigned Wednesday on a 28-count indictment that included charges of rape, kidnapping, sexual abuse and child endangerment, the Westchester County District Attorney said.
The teen allegedly abducted a 23-year-old woman walking home from work in Mount Vernon on Oct. 20 and forced her to the nearby Grimes Elementary School while holding a knife to her throat, prosecutors said. He forced her to perform sex acts on him and raped her several times, prosecutors said.
The teen also allegedly abducted an 11-year-old girl while she was walking home from a Christmas concert at a local library in Mount Vernon at about 8 p.m. on Dec. 4. He took her to Grimes Elementary School, where he forced her into sex acts and raped her multiple times during a two-hour attack, prosecutors said.
The teenage suspect, identified as Javon Roberts, is considered a juvenile offender, according to the district attorney's office. He's been remanded to jail until his next court appearance on May 12. He faces up to 10 years behind bars.

I don't mean to sound insensitive, but if I was lucky enough to get some poon at 15, I wouldn't last long enough for seconds.

He had a knife. Without a gun, I'd say the answer, for a gal anyway, is "no".
Nor should one be expected to.
And this is dangerous - I know it is a fine line to walk when a juvenile commits a crime like this - but if justice fails the community long enough - eventually, they take the law into their own hands.
Lets say this kid walks with an even shorter sentence and the father/brother/SO of one of these gals finds him and does away with him - if I'M on the jury, I vote to acquit - jury nullification.
What kind of message would that send?
