Does it really bother you that much? Gees.

I'm not really much of a DMB fan and it doesn't really bother me that much. It's just annoying and gets in the way of legit discussion. Every other thread on this board turns in to this pissing match and it's basically the same group of posters causing it. It just turns the board in to shite.

Carter is so fricking good. Look up his studio drumming to Tripping Billies on YouTube.

I love Carter but honestly LeRoi was my favorite. Imo the band was never the same after he passed, but I still respect what they do.

Coffin is really really good, but it's not just about talent to me. LeRoi was the soul of DMB and they definitely changed (as any band does) when he passed.

This is one of my all time favorite DMB performances.
The "duel" at the end with Roi and Tim is amazing.

Sorry but no. He can't belt it out like LeRoi could, and he doesn't improvise as well.

It's why Tim Reynolds now plays with the band full time. Fills the void (somewhat)

the intro to One Sweet World will never be the same. I used to love Roi's simple intro notes

edit: I'm talking about the direct intro, not the old school longer instrumental intro

Pay no attention. I've yet to figure out why people actually try and troll boards other than the OT. Ain't got time for that

Why are so few people listing Crash Into Me?

Probably their weakest song. When I hear the intro chords to that, I know it's time for me to go get a beer.

really getting into their music, and want to know what some of their best work is? My favorite so far is #41

As far as official studio work goes, Before These Crowded Streets is the band's best work. The Lillywhite Sessions comes close to beating Streets, but those sessions were aborted and eventually became Busted Stuff, which isn't as good as the leaked sessions. Go get yourself the Karrmageddon Remaster of the Lillywhite Sessions.

As far as live performances go. Try to get a hold of the Warehouse Bonus discs. Getting into details of the best stuff would take forever.
