Assuming everything worked out with the credit bureaus, it will be a positive thing in the long run. This opened the door to the discussion of "How not to be a moron with money" with the SO + us making her a budget so she understands going to Panera 7x/week is a waste of money

Food costs are such a big budget buster for many young people. Once a week as a treat, I can appreciate. But brown-bagging is the easiest way to give yourself a raise.

I eat at the cafeteria at work but I always grab the special or find unique combinations (side grilled chicken + side veggies for example) that are cheap and spend about 3-4$/meal. I'm okay with that. GF though is spending ~$9-10 per meal at Panera though which is absurd.
I'm trying to eat real healthy though and fresh fruits and vegetables are tanking my budget. I live next to a dominos that does 5$ medium pizzas and it sucks. I could eat for about $5-7.50 /day
