Looking for some advice. In Baton Rouge I know that Cuban and Martin's wine cellar are two good places to find a good whisky selection, is anyone aware of any other good liquor stores in the area that may have some of the more uncommon whisky like a Blanton's Straight from the Barrel or maybe a Michter's 10 year. (I'm not hunting for Pappy or anything). TIA for any help

Irish?
Scotch?
Bourbon?
Canadian?
Tennessee?
Rye?

Whisky is a pretty board category

Good liquor store would tend to have a good selection of all no? Most specifically Bourbon though. Have been trying to track down some Lot no. 40 canadian whisky without much success. If anyone has some local suggestions I would really appreciate it, been through about 5 of the 780 or so pages from that huge whisky thread without finding a suggestion yet.

Been out of BR for a few years now, but maybe Calandros?

Anyway, a more descriptive thread title might get you some better responses as well. Maybe share that you're looking for liquor stores with a good whiskey selection

2nd the Bev store. Don't be intimidated by the bars on the windows. I find they generally have lower prices than Cuban and Calandros. However Calandros does get special stuff from time to time.

Dammit! My idea was to keep the Beverage Store as least known as possible.
