I hope big flower delivery services struggling since Vday is saturday this year

Yeah, I'm sending them on Thursday to her work. Chicks don't give a frick about getting flowers, they just want their friends and co-workers to see them getting flowers.

Nothing more pathetic in life than some guy being guilted into paying $90 for delivery of roses on V-day.

Eh. I don't eat dessert/fruit, so an edible arrangement is a bigger waste of money than flowers. And if I recall, they are expensive at all times of the year. At least I can set a flower arrangement on my coffee table and have a nice centerpiece for a week.
ETA: I am a recluse at work. Receiving flowers is extremely embarrassing. Today is only day #2 at my new job, so I'd definitely die of embarrassment. Luckily, I don't work on Saturdays.
We will be drinking in the streets of New Orleans, and flowers will be far from either of our minds.
