who else is pumped for dragonball xenoverse?

When it was first announced I wasn't too confident in this game but everything I've been reading/seeing of it has been looking pretty fricking badass. I really like how they're doing all of the classic sagas but with alternate history twists to keep it fresh. If the fighting mechanics/online play is smooth I can see myself playing this for months

check out DBZ Abridged by teamfourstar.
It is the best thing DBZ-related in the world. They turned DBZ into a comedy and it's fricking done perfect.

This guy. I haven't been this excited about a DBZ game in a long time. This is the first one in several years I think they put a lot of effort into. It's a good base to build future installments on

I downloaded a torrent of the entire series and started rewatching. I'm up to future trunks showing up, pre-androids. Might not watch Buu again. After the cell saga, it gets kind of ridiculous.

Well plausibility is not really something to consider in the Dragonball franchise, but the Buu saga was almost a parody of the rest of the series. Campy even for DBZ standards, Gohan's character just ruined after his high point in the cell saga, annoying trunks/goten/gotenks, continuing with too much Mr. Satan, and despite all the ridiculous action/high power levels, it was mostly boring. Yeah I agree about most of that. Gohan went from a little bitch as a toddler, to a total badass in the cell saga, to an even bigger bitch in the buu saga. But I really liked the majin vegeta episodes, the stuff in the hyperbolic time chamber with gotenks, and vegetto so the other bullshite is sufferable

dbz was a shell of itself after the cell saga. The only cool thing in the buu saga a solid fight sequence between goku and vegeta
