Realistic look at rest of season

vs #1 UK (probable L - but one can hope)
@ TENN (winnable game, but tough place to play)
@ TAM (should have won the first one, cause A&M is getting better)
vs FLA (must win)
@ AUB (must win - a little revenge)
vs MISS (another must win - will be a tough game)
vs TENN (a split with UT is probable)
@ #24 ARK (another probable L - but much more winnable than UK)
Probably the toughest remaining schedule of any SEC team. 5-3 would be a strong finish. Would need to win a couple in the SEC tourney to make NCAA. More than likely we are a high NIT seed, unless we totally explode or implode. 6-2 at best (NCAA tourney with 1 sec tourn win). 3-5 at worst (NIT 4 seed).

Sounds about right if what we are seeing continues...hopefully LSU gets hot.

I actually agree with this. The only way I see us as a tourney lock is if we sweep tenn and upset arkansas. Going to either be a fun stretch of basketball or a rough last couple weeks.

11-7 Sec record and 1 win in the SEC tourney gets us in. IMO.

Losing @MSU and vs AU were huge missteps for this team.
That said, as a fan, I want to see improvement and energy. The team had that against UA. I still think this team is pieces to a puzzle without the box cover. It's going to take them to come together and gel.
My eyes see NIT. My heart wants NCAA. They're not a top 16 or whatever talent others have placed on them. But they are easily NCAA talented and if they can find the cohesiveness, the team could be that caliber. Just IMO.

no easy games for sure. have the talent to win most of them but those four road games (especially at ark) are tough. anything worse than 5-3 would be very disappointing, think we go. im feelin 6-2 with L's to UK and arkansas. if we beat UK we will transpose that loss to someone like tennessee

I predict 2-6 in that stretch. We'll finish 8-10. 19-12 overall- hello NIT!
