Kayaking Louisiana events announced

Two new Louisiana based kayak events were just announced. I figure a few of you that have done the Tour du Teche may be up for seeing more of the states waterways via kayak. Initial Details below.

Tour de Red River: not sure about all the locks, and the piece on the Atchafalaya could get scary. Sure would be interesting though.

Jesus. I wonder what kind of participation they get at these events. It's pretty neat, but probably not something I'll ever do.
