If you had a neighbor like Orleans Parish you would own a gun too.

Really surprised Livingston and ascension didn't make the top 10. Rapides would have been higher but my uncle took his brood to Georgia for work.

Surprised the town in Georgia that requires every household to own a gun isn't on there.

You have no clue how Katrina skewed the makeup of Ascension Parish.

From the article:

"(We should note there’s no source posted for the city-data list)"

SC doesn't require gun registration. How do they get the data? Do they just track gun sales?

Excluding one of my mafioso buddy's house - I saw more guns in my parents' neighborhood in St. Tammany in the weeks after Katrina than I have in a decade in Texas. The neighborhood association basically told the Guard and Sheriff's Dept. not to come in "We'll police our own."

I know,,,, it happened when y'all figured out you can dry clothes pinned to a rope in the back yard and traded in the dryers for guns at the pawn shop. Much better investment, IMO.

When I hunt there, texans always let ya know how scared they are of people from Louisiana.
