Darkest Dungeon

Don't do early releases very much and this hasn't hit my radar. The only early releases I buy I usually see threads about on multiple boards.

I've been playing it over the last few days. The art style and voice acting are amazing. It can be very frustrating, because the fights are very rng and punishing if you miss on just a few abilities, but it's also extremely satisfying to eek out the win in a dungeon. The best thing I could tell anyone staring the game is to not think of your heros as your progression, but the town is your progression. Because you are going to lose heros, or the are going to become so messed up with bad quirks that's it's better to just dismiss them from the roster. But once you upgrade part of the town, it'll stay upgraded the rest of the game.
