Hi everyone,

I’ve been living out of state for the past 25+ years and am thinking about buying some property (10+ acres of rural land) and building a house on it. I think that I would be interested in the Florida parishes area, northeast LA, or maybe even central to southwest LA. I know that isn’t particularly specific, but any help will be appreciated! So, any of you know any good realtors in one of those areas that knows land? Thanks for helping!

Found my last realtor through Zillow. Since then a few girls I went to school with got their licenses. I'll be using them next time. BR area, if it helps.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I should have included the fact that I’ve been looking for some time now and I’ve tried Zillow, Land and Farm and every other site I could come up with on the internet, but with no success. I've decided that a local agent will be the best way to really find what’s out there.

For those who suggested Zillow, it works well for houses, especially in searches of limited areas, but it really doesn’t do too well for land or for searches in large areas.

Royal, there are several sites like Land and Farm out there, but they don’t have all the listings that a local agent would have access to.

Ole G, I’ll give him a call Monday – Thanks!

Props to you aVatiger!

And if anyone else knows of any other realtors in the areas I mentioned, please chime in!

Thanks again, everyone!
