LINK

quote:

13. New Orleans Saints: Bud Dupree, DE/OLB, Kentucky The future of Junior Galette in New Orleans is questionable, and the pass rush beyond him is questionable. Dupree has enough power to stick at end and the athleticism to play linebacker if needed.

They have Cooper going #9 to NYG and Scherff at #10 to STL. I don't see Cooper dropping to 9, but I do see Scherff going top 10. That big win over TB was huge!

Every year, the draft outlets mock us some pass rushing edge rusher and every year, the Saints go elsewhere. I'd love to have some help for Galette, but LB doesn't really come across as something Loomis & co. look at early. Offensive line or corner back would be my two biggest needs in the 1st.

Yeah, depending on who's there, I tend to agree with you. I'd be down for the Saints trading back at this point.

Dupree can drop back tho too; Hes not like Beasley who's a one-trick-pony pass rusher. I'd love if the Saints decided to take him. Very versatile and athletic, and a great teammate and leader from most accounts.

Please God no. Not with this class.

I think Dupree is going to be good. He gained weight to play a DE role at Ken.

Would love if he could play some OLB but he's too heavy.

I think he will shoot up the draft boards.

I would puke if the Giants had Odell and Cooper

Yeah that would be deadly, but I don't see that happening. Not sure why Cooper is "dropping"? I woul dbe pissed more than anything knowing the Saints could've grabbed him had they not beaten the shitty Bucs for that oh so important win

I think we will look to the FA market for a CB and draft OT in the first and look for more CB depth later in the draft as well as other needs on Defense

If cooper goes to the Giants, and has a year like obj, do the Giants have the best receiving core in the NFL? Cruz, obj, and Cooper?

This is all based on the speculation that Cooper will be an immediate impact

Current roster as it is I think there's a 30 percent shot they get rid of Cruz

If they got Cooper, that number would jump to 100 percent. Too much value/money tied up into one position. Especially since Cruz/Cooper/Cooper aren't drastically different receivers

If the giants were to go WR, I think they'd go for a bigger redzone guy like Kevin White or Beckham-green
