He said that really???? His job is to get these guys ready, so the buck kinda stops there.

Well, when you run a 6 man rotation (Malone and Bridgewater's 3 min per game doesn't really count), then how else would they play?? Auburn is running guys in every few minutes and all I heard about was how they weren't very deep.

I know 20 year olds are in the best shape of their lives, but 38 min per game wears you down eventually.

Leadership starts top down. If he can't light the fire or an assistant coach light the fire, then you have what they have now. Of course you want players to step up, and if you have a solid leader on your team, then great. But if you're missing that, where do they get their direction from?

I know the answer.

Key sequence for me was when CJJ says "DONT FOUL" and Quarterman runs over Harrell immediately. fricking stupid.

Who's fault is that? He's been here for 3 years, shame on him if he only has 6 players.

+1
saw only two games this season..I am in Dallas.

..we are just not hustling on Def and on the Boards.. I did not see a sense of cohesive urgency.

No fundamentals. They do not box out, move their feet to stop dribble penetration & move on offense. They do take poor shots and make poor decisions with the ball.
No coach and no pg is the main problem.

He has virtually nothing when he got here. And playing comfortable does not start with coaching. Is Mickey KR especially Martin concerned about being benched for not playing well? The only person in jeopardy at losing time is Josh Gray and he has lost more and more. If a player KNOWS he won't be benched he doesn't have to play his dick off. They know they can do whatever they want

Why does Malone even start? We're consistently down 6-8 points by the time we make our first substitution. Not that that's what's losing these games for us but slow starts don't help. Of course poor defense, turnovers, and lack of a true point guard don't help either.
