I've listened to the first five and I'm hooked. It's now 1917, Russia is having a revolution, the US is about to get in the war. All involved sides are about to wear out.

and then it stops?!?!?!?!?!?

where is episode VI?

You can't find it?

It's actually pretty good.

The Ewoks are a little silly though.

I am on episode 2 right now. I am not a huge history buff, but Carlin has an amazing storytelling talent. I am hooked also. Never knew how interesting World War I was.

Listen to the ones about roman republic or Mongols in mean time. The roman one is amazing.

Just play it when your driving and doing shite around the house, goes by quickly. Or just find an excuse to take arias trip.

Last I heard he was working on episode 6, but it might take a while. He has said it takes a lot of research per episode so that's why it takes so long. It was around 4 months between episode 4 and 5.

one of my favorite podcasts, his narrative of different historical topics is just great. His common sense podcast is solid too.

also, my 16 year old son was stuck in the car while I was listening to it. he won't admit he likes it, but he's asked that I start over from the beginning and every time he's in the truck, he wants to listen.

but he's not interested.

You'll have to pay for his older episodes.. You can find them on iTunes or his website. I believe they're cheaper on his website, either way it's worth it.

Ghosts of the Ostfront is my favorite.. It's about the eastern front in WWII and it's better than Blueprint.

Eta: Punic Nightmares is also really good

God I love Dan Carlin.

i've emailed Ben before trying to get more episodes released

Wish dude would release more. Although I do enjoy "common sense" as well and they come more often :/
