Looking at getting an English Bulldog soon. Does anyone that has had experience with English Bulldogs recommend a certain breeder? Any help would be appreciated.

I know a great breeder in Marshall, Texas (or at least they were there a few years ago).

Got mine from a breeder in Summit Mississippi. Very nice people and will be going back when the time comes.

I've had them for 24 years. I've used several, haven't bought one in 6-7 years, so I have no recomendations. Don't buy anything from a backyard breeder. Don't buy cheap. The kennel/setup should impress you. Get the names of past customers and ask about medical problems, ask what vet they use and inquire about the health, be prepared because the purchase price is the cheapest part sometimes.

What you mean by this? You want to get on a list soon, or have one soon? In my experience, if you find a breeder that has LOTS of pups available, they probably breed for money and not the betterment of the breed. This leads to LOTS of health issues. Find a Breeder that's in it for the right reasons. I waited over 6 months when I pulled the trigger and paid my deposit. It's worth it in the long run.

Just be prepared to clean up after them. They aren't a particularly clean animal

My parents breed them and show them. Not sure when exactly they are having another litter but they will put you in contact with people they know if you are interested

I can attest to this dog being a beast.

They are also one of the dumbest breeds. They are still good pets though; one of my friends has one.

English bulldogs are usually cool as a mother fricker or the exact opposite and a huge pain in the arse.

Everyone isn't making the switch to the shiba inu yet?

Little a-hole dogs are nearly impossible to train, but I love mine..

Yeah, they are a "leash only" dog. If they get a chance to run off they don't come back until they are done running and ready to do so

we have an English bulldog, Ryno. He's very gassy and we have to make sure to keep his wrinkles clean, but he's just the most awesome dog around. he's intelligent, stubborn, has a huge underbite, and lazy as shite. Best dogs around.

Mine was an intelligent animal but it depended on his whim whether he chose to display it. He knew exactly what was expected from him but at times could be a stubborn SOB.
